New For 2000
Son Of Beast

Son Of beast

Coming in the spring of 2000 to Paramount Kings Island is a coaster like no other. It's a wooden coaster that completely destroys the competition by being 218 feet tall with a second drop that is almost taller than any other wooden coaster in the world. It also includes a vertical loop right smack in the middle of the ride, just to make sure that it will be pure fact that this is the most exciting wooden rollercoaster in the world. When I first heard of this amazing thing, I thought it was just another rumor that was spreading throughout the internet, especially because of the fact that they got a new coaster and a freefall tower for the '99 season. But this thing is actually going to exist. Comparing this to it's "father", it almost seems to be common sense to name this one "The Beast"while letting the other one be the son. I just know that my annual trip to Cedar Point is definitely going to include a stop right here.
