Project Stealth
One of the most anticipated rides of 2000 has finally been unveiled. Project Stealth will debut at Paramount's Great America as the first ever "lay-down" coaster. This proto-type built by Vekoma will feature trains with 4 across seating much like B&M, and six cars adding up to 24 passengers per ride. You will board seats normally, but facing backwards. At the crest the hill the track banks 180 degrees to the left causing you to look straight down, 115 feet below. On certain parts of the ride though (like the vertical loop), you will end up on the top of the track because of excessive g forces that would be too great for any one to handle. This ride, joined with Son Of Beast, proves that Paramount Parks really want to start off the Millenium with a blast.
