Riverside Park will be now known as Six Flags New England starting in the 2000 season. There will be a completely new section of the park that is themed to DC comics. It will include a couple new rides, places to eat, and of course Superman: Ride of Steel. This will be Intamin's first out-and-back style hypercoaster, and from the looks of it... well... it looks great. It will dive down a 221 foot, 65 degree drop into an underground tunnel. It will also include an Intamin "over-banked turn" which will also be found on Millennium Force at Cedar Point. The park is also getting a new family coaster, a Vekoma Boomerang called Flashback, and a 3 tower turbo drop ride from S&S called Scream! that will be similar to Knott's Berry Farm's Supreme Scream.
