After months of waiting and knowing Six Flags Great Adventure was going to recieve a new B&M coaster, we now know all of the facts. Nitro will be the world's tallest and fastest B&M coaster. With an awesome 230 foot lifthill, a 66 degree 215 footdrop, and over a mile of trackwork, Nitro will also become the tallest, fastest, and longest coaster in the Northeast. But the neatest part of all takes place at the top of the lifthill. Unlike every other B&M coaster (except for those nutty vertical ones!) this coaster will dive straight off of the lift hill causing massive airtime in the back seats! This might just be the most exciting coaster of the first year in the new Millennium!

Height: 230 feet
Drop: 215 feet
Angle of drop: aprox. 66 degrees
Top Speed: aprox. 80 mph
Other features: No dip after lifthill. Highly banked turnaround element next to lake.
Track Length: Over a Mile
Ride duration: at least 3 minutes
Trains Three 36-passenger trains with 4 across seating. Designed to cause the rider to completely feel open.
Manufacturer: B&M
