New For 2001
Talon

Opens May 5, 2001

Dorney Park will be home to a brand new B&M inverted coaster next year. Talon will feature 4 inversions, a height of 135 feet, and a top speed of 58 mph. After reaching the top, riders will face straight down at the ground on a 50 degree, 120 foot plunge, and then fly right up into a vertical loop. After maneuvering the loop, the 32 passenger train will soar through a zero-g roll and then go through an immelmann. Next the ride will hit an inclined spiral and s-turn. The end of this ride includes a flat spin and another spiral that leads back into the station.
