Kings DominionAnaconda
This Arrow built coaster with 4 inversions is probably
one of the smoothest I have ever been on with the
exception of the butterfly maneuver after the mid-ride
brakes. At the end of the first drop, you fly right under
the lake's surface and get sprayed with mist. It's fun
but short.
Avalanche
This is the only Bobsled coaster I have ever been on.
These coasters aren't really all that exciting but they
are very fun. I was surprised at how fast you feel like
you are going and how highly banked you get on turns.
This one is fun for everyone.
Grizzly
This ride is sort of the "Beast" of Kings
Dominion. It travels deep into the woods full of sudden
drops and turns. It is quite bumpy and one of the most
wild wooden coasters I have ever been on.
Hurler
This coaster had no line when I visited this park and I
ended up riding it at least 50 times over the course of
the day. It might be small, but this ride yanks you out
of your seat plenty of times to make it a fun ride. It is
quite bumpy on the rides 180 degree turns, but not bad
enough to keep me from riding it over and over again.
Rebel Yell
Overall this racing coaster isn't too great. The problem
with it is that they don't actually duel the trains. I do
love the idea of having trains run backwards along with
forwards which did make the ride unique.
Scooby Doo
Ghoster Coaster
This little wooden coaster has all of the great elements
of a wooden coaster, just on a smaller scale. I did enjoy
this ride, but the cars could have used a little more
room.
Shock Wave
This didn't impress me all that much. The line was always
backed up past the enterance to the ride and overall, its
just way too rought. My head banged against the shoulder
restraint at least 15 times and the ride is only about a
minute and a half long.
Taxi Jam
A small junior coaster for the kids
The Outer
Limits: Flight Of Fear
This ride was the first launched coaster that I had ever
ridden and I loved it for that. But the rest of the ride
had alot to be desired simply because of how rough it
was. If it weren't so rough, it would be very similar to
the Rock'n' Roller Coaster in Disney's MGM Studios and I
loved that coaster.
Volcano: The
Blast Coaster
This coaster was not yet open when I visited the park. I
took pictures of the almost complete construction anyway.
