Ride Reviews
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Giant Dipper
This classic wooden coaster built in 1924 is still running strong on this seaside boardwalk. I think this might be one of the smoothest wooden coasters I have ever ridden and it is sure one wild ride. Right after exiting the station, the train flys around a few turns under the boardwalk in complete darkness. Eventually it reaches the lift and the first drop gives great airtime in the back seat. The whole rest of the ride throws you all around in your seat until it eventually comes to a stop back in the station. This is one awesome classic!

Hurricane
This extremely compact coaster is one of the strangest rides I have ever been on. It pulls 4.5 g's on this one extremely steep 80 degree banked turn. The rest of the ride isn't all that special but its that one turn that makes this ride totally extreme.

Sea Serpent
This family coaster's track arrived the day I visited the boardwalk, so I thought it would be neat to take a picture.
