Six Flags
Magic MountainBatman The
Ride
This coaster is almost exactly like the one
at Great Adventure. Everyone knows that they have the
same design, but this coaster is a little rough and
pretty intense just like the New Jersey model. Basically
the only difference is the color.
Colossus
Well, unfortunately I wasn't able to ride
this coaster along with Psyclone, Goldrusher, Flashback
(closed), and Canyon Blaster because I was only able to
spend a half a day at this park. So obviously I hit the
big coasters.
Goliath
This coaster ranks in my top ten steel not
becuase of its 255 foot drop or 85 mph speed, but the g
forces it pulls through an extremely tight helix found
near the end of the ride. The first drop is really
awesome because it drops you right into a 120 foot
underground tunnel. The turnaround is cool as well, and
the camelback produces major airtime in every single seat
in the train. But after the mid-ride brake run and a few
turns, this ride gets wild. All of a sudden you feel a
huge force pushing you into your seat, and right when you
start to black out, it lets you go and you hit the
brakes. This helix is even more intense than most
Schwarzkopf coasters out there.
Revolution
This was the first ever sucessful looping
coaster ever built. Sucessful meaning that it doesn't
snap people's necks. 2 things really hurt this coaster
and they are trim brakes and shoulder restraints. If they
were eliminated from this ride, it would be the best
Schwarzkopf coaster out there. The first part of the ride
resembles a small hyper coaster that goes in and out of
trees and the second part of the ride is a bunch of
twists and turns.
Riddler's Revenge
This is the world's tallest, fastest, and
longest stand up coaster. It is a pretty smooth ride that
includes a vertical loop, 2 diving loops, an inclined
loop, and 2 corkscrews. I like Mantis at Cedar Point a
little better than this coaster because it seems to be
much more intense.
Superman The Escape
I got onto this ride not having a clue
exactly how this was going to feel. The launch was what I
expected. It was pretty gradual getting up to the 100 mph
mark but once you got there you take off going straight
up the tower. as soon as you are totally perpendicular to
the ground you fly out of your seat and stay there for a
good 6 or 7 seconds. Eventually you bottom out and head
back to the station. Overall it is a pretty cool ride but
I like Superman Ultimate Escape at Six Flags Ohio better.
Viper
This Arrow built looping coaster is pretty
smooth. Viper is one of the world's tallest looping
coasters and it has 7 inversions. This is probably my
second favorite Arrow looping coaster right behind
Drachen Fire.
